This handcrafted Mother of Pearl Kintsugi Ring is inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi — a philosophy that embraces imperfections rather than hiding them.

At the centre is a large natural Mother of Pearl, chosen for its soft iridescence and beautifully individual markings. Set on a delicate 14k Gold-Filled band, it creates a bold yet feminine statement ring with an organic, perfectly imperfect character.

🌿 Inspired by Kintsugi

Kintsugi - 金継ぎ meaning “joining with gold”- is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with Gold - this art is built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.

My stones are not broken, but some have flaws, inclusions or cracks - which is part of working with natural and raw gemstones. I've decided to use the Kintsugi technique to give a second life to these stones.

Perfectly imperfect — beautiful because of its individuality, not in spite of it.

Because every piece of Mother of Pearl is different, your ring will closely resemble the one pictured while retaining its own unique pattern, texture and iridescence.
