✨ The Art of Kintsugi — Celebrating Imperfection

Kintsugi is inspired by the centuries-old Japanese art of embracing rather than disguising imperfection. Traditionally associated with repairing broken pottery using precious metal, its philosophy celebrates the marks and imperfections that become part of an object's unique history.

My Kintsugi jewelry draws inspiration from this beautiful idea. I select gemstones with naturally occurring fractures, inclusions and distinctive markings, then accent these features with golden details rather than trying to hide them.

The stones are not intentionally broken. Their natural imperfections are already present, and it is these wonderfully individual characteristics that inspire each design.
